Zara's husband shared his view on what he would do if he was offered a royal title.

Mike Tindall is one of the most loved members of the Royal Family despite not being a working royal. Since marrying into the Royal Family in 2011 when he wed Zara Tindall, the former rugby player has been seen at some of the most high-profile royal events. Despite this, Mike - like his wife - does not have a royal title.
This is because when Zara was born, her mother Princess Anne, 74, did not give her a royal title. This has been the same throughout her whole life, meaning that while she - and Mike - are members of the Royal Family, they do not have titles or carry out royal duties. Although this can change, Mike, 46, has hinted that he is not interested in having a title.

When asked by Closer magazine how he would react if he was ever offered the title of prince by the Royal Family, Mike said: "I would definitely turn that down.”
While the former rugby pro did not say why he would not want a title, he argued that he was perfectly content with his life without a title to his name.
Zara has also hinted that she feels the same, and even previously praised her mum for not giving her a royal title when she was born.
When being interviewed by former rugby player Rob Burrow on his Total Sport podcast, Zara said: “From my point of view, I was obviously very lucky that my mother didn't give us any titles so I really commend her on that.”

She continued: “We were very lucky that we got to do it a bit our own way.
"My family has a great work ethic as well which I'm hoping they instilled in me and is still going to this day.”
Despite not being working royals, Zara and Mike still frequently rank as some of the most popular members of the Royal Family.
They also have good relationships with a number of senior royals including Prince William and Princess Kate.
